Welcome to the website of Product Assurance Services, Inc. (PASI). We offer materials testing and laboratory services both at home and abroad. Our location, in the heart of the nation’s powdered metals industry, means that specialized tests for the powdered metals industry are among our most popular services. We have extensive experience in nondestructive testing (NDT) and failure analysis, as well as a wealth of knowledge of metallurgy to rely on. We also perform light bulb inspection and other industry inspections.
PASI is a privately-held company located in Ridgway PA, incorporated in 1997. Employing over 60 people and operating three shifts five days per week enables us to stay abreast of customer requirements. The company’s origins were modest, with seven original founders who saw the need for nondestructive testing (NDT) and metallurgy services for the powdered metals industry. This group saw the company through its early years, after which two of them left for different careers. The remaining five people are still among the company’s 60+ employees, and the company’s scope has expanded well beyond the powdered metals industry to include wrought metals, finishing, glass and process controls.
PASI is accredited to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard for its technical competence in the field of testing.
